Everyone Sing

Everyone Sing! Intergenerational singing brings old and young together.

Everyone Sing! is a project run by Southampton Music Services and is designed to bring the elderly together with school children, to foster well-being and communication between the generations through the medium of singing. Each group meets separately and together on  a regular basis. Friendships are formed; the children develop an appreciation of what life was like for children in the 1930s and 1940s (the war years). Likewise, the older folk learn about what it's like for children growing up today - their challenges, hopes and aspirations.

The Warblers Return

The Beaulieu Warblers met for the their first session of 2011 this week. All were still buzzing from the fantastic performance they gave in the Christmas Concert last month.
Plans are afoot to put on a Spring concert in April in Beaulieu.
We will be singing a range fo songs from 'Is This The Way to Amarillo?', sections of Les Miserables and some Gospel Music.
Some of James' regular voice students will also have an opportunity to perform solo items.
