The Beaulieu Warblers Sing In Concert on 10 April was a fantastic success. 55 singers and Beaulieu Abbey Church packed out to listen to music from Les Mis, Gospel and pop. Shannon Freeman, Byron Witchell and Maurice Pearce provided excellent solo spots and feedback has been great.

Here's what they're saying:

I thought the concert went brilliantly - so impressed with the choir.  It's come on so much.  I was moved to tears by Les Mis at the end (great singing on your part!).  Fantastic!

Everyone Sing! Intergenerational singing brings old and young together.

Everyone Sing! is a project run by Southampton Music Services and is designed to bring the elderly together with school children, to foster well-being and communication between the generations through the medium of singing. Each group meets separately and together on  a regular basis. Friendships are formed; the children develop an appreciation of what life was like for children in the 1930s and 1940s (the war years). Likewise, the older folk learn about what it's like for children growing up today - their challenges, hopes and aspirations.
